Sara studied jazz under co-chairs Wayne St David and Molly Misgalla, with Ronen Koresh, Donald T Lunsford III, Kim Bears-Bailey, Hollie Wright, and Ginger Cox. Education foundation included ballet (Andrew Pap, Eva Szabo, Anastasia Babayeva, Suzanne Slenn, Scott Jovovich;) [Horton, Graham, Dunham and release technique] modern (Kim Bears-Bailey, Jennifer Binford-Johnson, Curt Haworth, Manfred Fischbeck, Zane Booker;) tap (Nicole Hockenberry, Karen Cleighton, Robert Burdon;) and hip hop. Workshops ranged from wheelchair incorporated dance to traditional Japanese dance. Sara performed the works of Twyla Tharp ("Noir") Bob Fosse ("Rich Man's Frug") Roni Koresh ("Ancient Future") among many, many other faculty choreographed pieces, guest choreographed pieces, and student choreographed pieces. Sara choreographed her senior piece, the comedic "Workin' Progress," on seven dancers, which played at the Drake Theatre in Philadelphia. Sara served on the School of Dance student council, as President her senior year; earning a leadership award for her service, and for organizing a mentoring program for incoming freshman.
