Sara Brophy plays Laura, who in turn plays 'She' in In the Night, an adventurous movie musical about finding the courage to live your dreams in a world where money and convention often reign paramount. Ghostwriter Jane is stifled by her tangled career and love life. With one night to produce a script that will earn her some much needed freedom and self-worth, she envisions an eclectic cast of seven actors abandoned by their director. Instead of conceding defeat, the cast decides to take their own raw, genuine, sometimes painful experiences to the stage, masked only by the magic of theater. Laura's is a story of an impossible relationship, a love that can never be fulfilled. Prickly on the outside, antagonistic and sarcastic, it is through She that Laura is able to show the vulnerability, compassion, and overwhelming love within her.
